My team is having issues with multiple versions and it has been a real pain to troubleshoot. Model Links are lost and a host of other strange behavior. Among the 19 people on my team there are three different builds of Revit, two builds of C4R and two builds of Personal Accelerator. The build number of the C4R addin should always be the same as the build number for Revit. All team member collaborating on a model need to have the same versions of Revit, C4R and Personal Accelerator 3. Re-running the Large organizations like ours have a tendency to break up installation packages for better or for worse. I was able to get my Versions matching and eventually got back into the project after a few crashes. It seems like my local cache was possibly getting completely rebuilt. It also could have been because one team member had hung a SWC, probably when her computer was automatically rebooted.
Now I'm a little paranoid to actually do any work in the model since the other 18 team members are split between two different versions of Revit, C4R and Personal Accelerator. Would I do more harm than good? Mixing C4R client versions between team members is totally supported, and pretty common. There should be no risk there, unless somebody is running a really old client from before we switched branding to BIM within the Revit UI.

Today a new wrinkle occurred that was quite interesting. We thought that the linked S model had been deleted by a careless user. Upon closer inspection it was still in our model but the name of the file had completely changed. Super weird. File was renamed to the name of the BIM Hub i. The S model had been removed and replaced last night by the Structural Engineer and I'm guessing that they are on a newer build than the last time they replaced their model Wishlist item to allow a SAVE AS.

Close all instances of Autodesk Revit Launch the installer, select the option to Install, accept the License and Services Agreement, and click the Install button. This will complete the installation.
